we just learned today... rand paul is dropping out of the race... but today in new hampshire, there will be plenty of chances for the candidates with town halls all over the state. fox news correspondent garrett tenney has more from washington. on cam intro with iowa in the rear view mirror, it's all hands on deck in new hampshire, where the future of several republican campaigns is on the line. he may have barely finished second in iowa, but in new hampshire, vermont senator and self- proclaimed socialist bernie sanders is firmly in command. he's changing his tone and drawing sharper contrasts with hillary clinton, questioning whether she is a true progressive. sanders says "..some days yes, except when she announces that she is a proud moderate." despite being a
10:16 am
distant second in recent new hampshire polls, clinton is arguing she's the practical choice for true democrats. clinton says "..you ask yourselves does this just sound good on paper or can this get done." rubio says "..ted has shown propensity to be willing to say just about anything to gain a vote." on the republican side, florida senator marco rubio took his unexpectedly strong third place finish showing in iowa and immediately set his sights on caucus winner ted cruz, who is now trying to convince voters in the other forty-nine states that he isn't a one- state wonder like previous caucus winners. cruz says "..we ended december thirty-first with almost more money in the bank than jeb bush plus marco rubio plus john kasich plus chris christie all combined together." another candidate who doesn't seem to have money problems -- donald trump -- landed in new hampshire and landed an endorsement from former massachusetts senator scott brown. trump says "..scott brown for him to come up and call and say i love what you're doing, i love where you're going. he loves
10:17 am
this area and he loves you people, for him to endorse me is a very important thing." on cam tag trump is dominating the polls in new hampshire. and behind him, it's essentially a four-way tie between cruz, jeb bush, john kasich and marco rubio. "granite state" voters are known for not making up their mind though, so with six days and another debate to go, a lot can still change. in washington,i'm garrett tenney, fox news. still to come we'll tell you... why one little union township girl didn't like what punxsutawney phil said yesterday.... plus... we'll talk with former bengal linebacker dhani jones about his super bowl picks. we're back in just over 2 minutes. but first... smile it's your birthday! we want to wish a very happy birthday
